SWIMMING POOL
Plunge into summer excitement at our swimming pool, available from Memorial Day to Labor Day! Seasonal, overnight and month-to-month campers receive complimentary access.
GOLF CART RENTALS
We provide golf cart rentals for your convenience. Contact the office to reserve before your visit. With extensive roadways, it's the fastest way to travel within the resort and to the neighboring campground via our private gated entrance.
DOG PARK
Make sure to check out our latest addition: the brand-new dog park! Now, your furry companions have a dedicated space to roam and play.
EVENT PAVILION
Our brand new Barefoot Landing Event Pavilion is ready to be put to use this season. Join us for some fun this coming spring and summer. Be sure to check our events calendars for upcoming special events and bands coming to our campground.
4TH OF JULY EVENT
Our resort residents and guests are invited to our yearly 4th of July celebration held at the newly constructed pavilion. The event features a complimentary holiday buffet and live music from a local band!

We have a brand new playground that is perfect for keeping the kids entertained!
BASKETBALL
PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCH
The resort boasts access to a quiet cove with boat launch into Lake James. As the water levels in the cove can vary we suggest only smaller boats to launch such as jet skis, kayaks and canoes and paddle boards. Plus, as a member of the fraternal lodge next door, our campers also have easy access to the deep-water boat launch through our private entrance.
GEM MINING
We offer a unique experience for all ages - gem mining! You can purchase a bucket from our main office and enjoy the thrill of discovering precious gems. Come and explore with us!
ONSITE BOAT STORAGE
We offer on-site boat storage at our campground for your convienece. You can rent the storage spot daily, monthly or the whole season.
KAYAKING
Explore Lake James by kayak! Bring your own and launch at our resort's boat ramp. Fish from your kayak and soak in the serene beauty of the lake.
FISHING
No stay at Lake James would be complete without some time spent fishing on the shore or by boat. With plenty of large & small mouth bass, brim, sunperch and crappie to catch, you'll not often go unrewarded for your patience!
VOLLYBALL

BATHHOUSE
Our bathhouse is conveniently located near the pool area, which includes restrooms, showers, and a laundry room. During the summer season, we also offer a concession stand and ice for your convenience.
Laundry Room
Our laundry room is located inside the bathhouse. It is open 24/7 for your connivence. There is a change machine located inside as the machines only accept quarters.
